Semporna, located in Sabah, Malaysia, is a gateway to some of the world's top dive sites. Its waters, situated in the heart of the Coral Triangle, boast exceptional biodiversity. Sipadan Island is its star attraction, renowned for its breathtaking barracuda storms and abundant sea turtles. Nearby Mabul and Kapalai Islands are a paradise for macro photographers, where visitors can discover a variety of unique pygmy seahorses, frogfish, and colorful nudibranchs in the coral reefs. The best diving season is the dry season (approximately April to October), when the seas are calm and the waters are crystal clear.
